4 More Days!

The countdown is getting closer! I'm more excited than Josh is to get his new house I think. lol. Sunday around 6pm he gets the keys to his house. Last weekend I "enjoyed" shopping with him for some home decor. It was quite an adventure. When I go into a home store I could spend hours shopping for the perfect plate, glass or pillow...Well not him. Maybe it's just the typical male. I remember growing up my father was the same way. He would sit in the food court and wait for us to shop. Well after about an hour the calls would start, asking how much longer and saying he was ready to go. The problem is I'm a bargain shopper I like to compare prices and then go back to stores too. So I could spend hours looking for one thing. Don't get me wrong I like to get in and out at times and I have to be in the mood to shop. Which 99% of the time I'm in the mood! Hahaha. Anyways, many of his friends are married and have kids and their houses are all personalized by there wives. Well He does have a few single friends with houses, and they are really nice houses, but there the typical bachelor pads. Plain walls, no decor, just a couch and tv. So being Josh, he doesn't want that. He went picked out two bedroom suites, office, living room, and kitchen furniture. He did a pretty good job, besides the cream chair he got for the living room. I guess since he doesn't have any kids he thinks it wont get dirty, but I have to remind him of all his nieces and nephews, plus all of his friends that have several kids themselves. We picked out the bedding at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I like it, but I was set on the brown/blue theme for the master bedroom. I guess I can settle for the bathroom, laundry room, and guest room. lol. I'm cleaning carpets Monday, painting, wed and the furniture gets delivered Thursday. So It will be a busy busy week. I have had off the last six days so it would of been great to do all of that while I had that break, but of course it couldn't be that way. Much of the last week I have been feeling bad. I started having some stomach problems a few weeks ago and had some tests ran, and what came back was C-DIFF. Which isn't very fun. I have to be on strong antibiotics for the next two weeks, which in the beginning made me pretty sick. So hopefully I will get better soon. I'm ready for the nice weather to stay here. I hear there's a good chance it could reach the 80's this weekend. Of course I'm working Sat. Night, so it will be hard to nap durning the day if its that nice. Easter 2009

I made it back from Florida..sadly I came home to snow..:( But by the end of the week it began to warm up. I celebrated Josh's 29th bday this week. We had a good dinner and spent a lot of time together. This weekend was busy busy. I went to eville to buy a bridesmaid dress for Lauren's Wedding, to Megan's baby shower and then celebrated easter with my family. I'm stuck at work the next four nights..But then I have off for six days! So there is a plus to it. Me and Josh went mushroom hunting sunday morning. I was so proud, I called my friend to tell her we found around 50 and she gets quiet and says thats great,I then asked her how many she found and she said a couple hundred. She put me in my place..lol. The good news right know is Josh bought a house in hburg. He closes this Wed. and he gets the keys April 26th! He is very excited. I'm in charge of decorating he says. He picked the furniture and I get to pick the colors and decorations. I'm looking for some good ideas if anyone has painted lately. Well I will post my florida pics and a few easter pics. Last Day of the Beach!

Well Tomorrow Is the last day of my Florida Vacation. For the most part the weather was nice. The last two days we had really bad storms and spent those days shopping...I do love shopping But I love the beach so much more! Today was the best day this week. It got in the 80's and I look like a lobster! I thought I had a good tan before I came, that way I wouldn't get fried..Well I was wrong! I have to say since 2005, Panama has changed alot. We have 11 kids between 4 adults, and all I have to say is my patience has been tested. I'm NOT ready for any kids anytime soon! lol. Overall, they were well behaved though. In Panama they now have a Pier Park, which is awesome. I enjoyed going there several nights. They have lots of good resturants. My favorite was Margaritaville. The live music was awesome! We went to Destin one day and shopped and ate at fudpuckers. Both of these places were great for kids and adults. I was hoping to upload some pics, but of course I forgot my usb cord! I have to say the last week has made my relationship with Josh much stronger. Gave us both a dose of the single life again, and we both agree being together is what we want! Everyone that knows me knows my cell phone is always in use and I love it too much at times. Well last night it decided to stop working!! After 2hours of being on the phone with verzion they said it could be 3-5 days before its fixed. So me being me, i took my phone to a store and they tested it and its my phone not the service. So I have to get a new one. Good thing is its under warranty, but all my pics and stuff I want to keep will be lost. :( It's only been 24 hours and Im going crazy without one!!On a different note... I got to see little miss Claire before I left for Florida and she is truly a gift from God. Megan and Matt will be great parents. She is such a doll!! My cousin Jamie Gross, Had her Baby today. It was a boy! Dont know all the details yet, but he has a ton of black hair! Also, please keep Erica in your prayers again. She is back in Indy and underwent surgery today to have fluid removed from her lungs. This poor girl has barely saw her new baby girl or family. Well hopefully everyone is enjoying there spring break. Hopefully I will post pics Sun or Monday.

Erica Is finally home with her family and new baby girl! Thanks for all the prayers. Please continue to pray for healing. I'm leaving for florida in.....3 Days! Can't wait! Hopefully the weather will be nice and we wont run into a bunch of traffic. Hope everyone enjoys there week!

Urgent Prayers....

Please PLease pray for healing for Erica Arthur. She had her baby last wed. and was sick at the time. Sarah was born and was diagnosed with viral pneumonia. She was in evansville for a few days and was given meds. She is doing much better. Erica was admitted Monday to Jasper and very sick again. They are searching for whats exactly wrong with her. Doctors believe she is septic. She has been transferred to indy and needs all the prayers and support she can get. So please PRAY PRAY PRAY

Life is good...

Well after my last post about being lonely and waiting for that perfect man to come into my life, someone was listening. A little over a month ago, I met the greatest guy ever. I have been waiting to post about him, because I didn't want to jinks myself.lol. So hopefully I still wont. :) But its official we are together and not just "dating". The last week I have saw not only a great guy, but an awesome person. We spent alot of time together this past week, so I think he likes me..lol. Actually I know he does. A little birdy told me. haha. Anyways, I guess you could say I have been on cloud nine the past few weeks. It feels great to be liked and to have someone actually want to see me and talk to me. I have met most of his good friends and his family. And in return I introduced him to my wild friends and family..lol. I know some of my coworkers are getting sick of hearing about him, so I thought I would tell the blog world. So besides having a big smile on my face, Im counting down the days to florida still...In less than 12 days I will be laying on the beach and soaking up the sun! I'm asking you still keep the Arthur family in your prayers. Sarah is doing much better and has been moved back to jasper to continue her Iv antibiotics, but Erica has been still feeling sick.. PLease continue to pray for them. Well hopefully my next post will pics of the wonderful florida!

Prayer Request

My coworker Erica Arthur had her baby last night. IT was a GIRL!! Little miss Sarah Faith 7lbs 2oz. Erica was feeling pretty bad yesterday with a high fever and may have the flu. Sarah is having trouble breathing and she may possibly have it too. She was transfered to St. Marys. So please keep this family in your prayers for quick healing.
